Registering for Telephone Banking with First Direct
If you have not yet registered for telephone banking with First Direct, you can call the following three numbers: 0843 770 5031, 0345 600 24 24, and 0800 24 24 24. Setting up your account is quick and easy. It takes around 5 minutes to do so, although you may have to wait for a security pack to be posted out to you before you can use telephone banking.
Call Instructions: When you contact First Direct, there is a security feature called ‘Voice ID’ that’s used to verify who you are. This is a voice recognition tool. Voice ID operates seamlessly, to give you telephone banking features without the need for additional security.

These should connect you straight to First Direct’s telephone banking service. If they do not, then you will be presented with a menu. Simply select ‘telephone banking’ from this menu to get started.
